This year many colleagues have taken part in a coaching course which has been of significant benefit not only to those staff who have been on the course, but to the many colleagues they have since coached as a result of this development. Those coached worked through confidential issues both work and non-work related.  Their programme is accredited by the University of Edinburgh.

The company held a Festive lunch for all staff in December 2013 giving colleagues the chance to relax in an informal setting.  Colleagues also learned of an extra day’s Christmas leave at this event.  Every month all staff join a monthly staff briefing either in person or via video link.  The monthly meeting is designed to bring people together and update them on successes over the past month,  the work of other teams, and look forward to key events and work that’s coming up in the next month.  All briefings are recorded so that staff on leave can view them on their return.   Colleagues have also taken part in a wide variety of social activities as part of their charity support work including cake baking, volunteering with the local community as each staff member is given one day's paid leave per year to do this. Colleagues' own charity fundraising has also been promoted.
