About CIM

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) provide membership, qualifications and training to marketers, team leaders and the wider marketing profession.

For more than 100 years, the CIM have supported, represented and developed marketers, teams, leaders and the profession. They are the world’s leading professional marketing body with over 28,000 members worldwide, including more than 3,000 chartered marketers.

They believe marketing is the critical factor in driving long-term organisational performance and their mission is to create marketing advantage for the benefit of professionals, business and society.

With 130 CIM study centres in 36 countries, delivering their world-renowned qualifications and more than 90 training courses, they are uniquely able to improve marketing capability at an individual and business level.

The organisation is based in Maidenhead, led by Chief Executive Officer Chris Daly, who has been working for the CIM for over 15 years.

In 2016, they introduced continuous performance management to the organisation and have most recently introduced new software to support managers in this process. The system links individual objectives to the overall strategy and goals of the organisation.
