About Newable

Newable aims to make a sustainable profit from helping other businesses thrive. They operate as a diversified financial services company. They own and manage business and industrial spaces, provide funding for business and enterprise development, and consultancy services.

The organisaiton were founded in the 1980's as Greater London Enterprise (GLE). In the last few year's, they re-branded as Newable to reflect their bold growth agenda and the growing national footprint of their activities.

Newable is a values driven business. Their values were defined as the result of a company-wide engagement process. Their five values are: Dream Big, Get Going, Grow Together, Always Improve, Pass it On. Together, the values help foster a culture that generates business confidence.

Treating anyone and everyone equally and fairly is central to the business. It is not only the right thing to do; it is because they believe that diversity fuels prosperity. They support companies of all shapes, styles and sizes because they know variety and diversity fuels a thriving economy, building resilience and sparking innovation.

What is it like to work for Newable

Newable run regular wellbeing initiatives, whether they are physical or mental health initiatives. These range from mindfulness sessions for Mental Health Awareness Week to financial wellbeing days.

Newable use Facebook and Twitter to communicate on social events and to post photos of events. These means of communication are used informally. They encourage staff to engage through them and to like, post and share stories.

Newable produced a brochure which they named "Making an Impact". This is an annual review that showcases the valuable work that staff do across the business providing support that generates inclusive growth.
