15below was founded at the turn of the century. Their software sends out notifications every day to travelling passengers, with the aim to reduce the stress of travel through optimised communications.
Many employees started at 15below in graduate positions and have been given the opportunity to progress into different roles and taken different career paths within the company.
To reward employees for their efforts, 15below created a 'Golden Ticket' scheme. In keeping with their passion for travel, the prize is a £500 travel voucher to spend on an amazing travel experience. This is a peer nominated award which is won by six employees each year. Employees nominate each other based on those who have demonstrated the 15below values; Connected, Collaborative, Progressive, Knowledgeable and Enjoyable.
15below officially committed to achieving excellent wellbeing for all employees in October 2017. This was marked by the launch of its initial year-long ‘Wellbeing Journey’. The objective of the programme was to provide employees with the support, tools and access to expertise needed for all aspects of their wellbeing.
The organisation actively works with individuals to identify and avoid any pressure becoming unmanageable or damaging to wellbeing. Preventative actions applied might include a period of working from home, reduced hours, access to their EAP schemes, or amendments to duties and responsibilities.
