They also reward employees through their annual 'People's Choice Award'. Employees are encouraged to vote confidentially for individuals for the exceptional contribution they have made to Assael that year. Winners are announced at the annual Christmas party and receive £500 in cash, runners-up receive £300.
Assael Architecture encourage everyone to spend at least one day per year out of the office helping others. They have spent this time gardening and decorating for vulnerable people living locally, serving lunch and providing company to the elderly to combat isolation, donating blood for the NHS and mentoring young students.
