Customer Services has a reward and recognition scheme. The categories recognise a range of Customer Service skills and are inclusive and accessible to all staff, regardless of length of service or experience. The common theme is that all recognition is linked to great customer service and outcomes. There are eight categories and employees can be nominated by colleagues. The nominees' managers receive notification and can endorse the award, resulting in the award of a certificate at a team meeting. The rationale is then shared with all attendees so they understand why the award was given. If a manager thinks an employee has demonstrated that he or she has gone the extra mile and has delivered exceptional customer service, the manager will put their colleague forward for the quarterly award within this category. Once a quarter the R&R committee meet and review all submissions for the quarterly award and choose winners within each category. Quarterly winners have the opportunity to choose from a range of gifts and experience days.
