Sue Ryder have organised a leadership event for over sixty leaders from across the organisation, called Make the Future, which they plan to do on an annual basis. Each Directorate within the organisation has two employee conferences per year, to ensure employees are involved in strategy and planning, and have an opportunity to share knowledge and to network. Sue Ryder’s Organisation & People Development team offer facilitation support and expertise to support team working, including workshops and the use of psychometric tools where required. The Executive Leadership Team and Trustee team are committed to their continued team development, and have taken part in a combined leadership team workshop, and a 360 degree feedback process. The organisation’s Fundraising Directorate actively encourages staff to get involved in their events, and their flagship event 'Starlight Hikes' saw a high number of staff getting involved in a 10k midnight walk together. This was a fantastic opportunity to support their cause, and to do so with their colleagues and supporters.
