DBS Law currently works in partnership with Birmingham City Council to provide road safety classes for children of primary school age. In order to widen the appeal of these they have asked the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to create a series of concerts that will capture the imagination of younger people across the West Midlands. The concerts will be performed at the CBSO Centre from early 2013. DBS Law executives hope to have shared their musical vision with around 3,000 children from 55 schools in Birmingham before the end of the summer school term. The current 'Clock on to Safety' campaign features an animated film and an appearance by a giant clock, one of the firm’s logos. It’s proved to be very popular with children and teachers so far, originally intended to be a one-off show at a local school, it’s been an unprecedented success. DBS Law have since been struggling to find ways to get out in front of more children but their friends at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra have stepped up to provide an awesome opportunity to entertain thousands of children with a musical message to keep them safe. The whole project is a great example of the private, voluntary and public sectors working together for the good of the community.
