Motorpoint are a car retailer, providing nearly new cars and finance products to the general public.
Employees needs are at the forefront of Motorpoint's agenda as an employer. They call it 'driving dreams', and it's what they have been doing since they started out with a single site in Derby, back in 1998.
They set out to do things differently, creating the kind of team spirit you just don't find elsewhere in the industry with a culture based around support. They believe in big celebrations for big wins, real energy and good vibes all the way.
Since their founders Gary and David started the business, they now have 12 sites across the UK, an online sales team working out of a state-of-the-art call centre and a second Derby office where all HQ teams sit. That's over 800 people working for them in total.
Motorpoint understand that juggling work and life can be difficult and balancing them both can be somewhat of a challenge. To help their people with this they introduced 'one big dream', the idea behind this was to give employees time. Time they can use to do things that they wouldn't normally get to do, such as pick the kids up from school, learn something new, volunteer for a charity or even just relax. Everyone at Motorpoint can take two hours a month fully paid to do something that either drives their dreams or helps their wellbeing.
