Alzheimer’s Research UK was founded in 1992 and the pioneering work of their scientists is bringing them closer to making their vision a reality. They've also brought dementia research into the spotlight, campaigning for more funding and helping to put the condition not only at the top of the UK’s health agenda but also attracting attention worldwide.
Their vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia and their mission is to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025.
Alzheimer’s Research UK's leadership attributes shape the organisational culture, where employees feel empowered and have the autonomy and responsibility to carry out their role. Employees opinions and ideas are listened to and they are kept informed about what is happening across the charity. They work in a fast paced environment but are able to remain flexible and agile in their approach. Their employees are extremely passionate about what they do and work collaboratively to ensure that the needs of the charity are met. Their vibrant offices portray their culture through the positive culture, bright airy spaces and open plan areas.
