Assura is a specialist real estate investment trust based in Warrington, focused on creating outstanding spaces for health services in its communities. They are the long-term owner of over 500 GP surgeries, primary care, diagnostic and treatment centre buildings around the country.

Assura have an internal development programme. The programme seeks to support the development of management skills such as coaching, alongside personal development such as emotional intelligence coaching. The programme consists of 6 workshops, monthly 121 coaching sessions and completion of two projects which include a presentation to the board. This is available to all employees.
On top of this, all employees can claim up to £150 per year in order to develop a new skill that is not related to their roles.
To support employees who have caring responsibilities, Assura introduced compressed hours of work alongside flexible start/ finishing times and increased home working.
