The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the status of a national park. It's also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK. The Broads Authority was set up over 30 years ago, with responsibility for conservation, planning, recreation and waterways.
The Broads Authority have a primary purpose 'To look after the Broads National Park'. In order to maintain the area, employees are asked to live by five core principles; Commitment, Caring, Open and honest, sustainable, Exemplary.
