About Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap provide business credit card and funding for small to medium size businesses that would otherwise find it difficult to gain access to funding quickly.

The business was founded in 2012 by three entrepreneurs who set out with one major goal, to making working capital simple, fast and transparent for UK businesses.

They have grown over the years from a three person company to now a thriving business of nearly 100 people. There is a culture at Capital on Tap that promotes learning and development and there are an abundance of examples of people progressing within the business, whether it be to join new teams, learn new skills or to manage a team.

Capital on Tap are always encouraging everyone to think creatively, problem solve and pilot new ideas. Therefore twice a year they hold an internal initiative called 'Innovation Tap'.

Anyone in the business is invited to pitch their ideas of ways in which they can impact the direction of the business to a panel of judges. These ideas could be anything, from how they can improve customer experience, ways to drive further growth and revenue or methods to simplify the way of working. After all the pitches have been presented, the panel of judges select the best ideas to be piloted or prototyped.

Capital on Tap have monthly wellness challenges, which encourage people to focus on different elements of their wellness through company competitions. People who complete the wellness challenges can earn house points for their houses. Recent challenges have included walking 10,000 steps a day and drinking two litres of water a day.

On the hunt for like-minded people, Capital on Tap recently introduced an employee referral programme for the company. If a current employee is to refer someone they know for a role and the candidate is successful, the current employee is rewarded with £1,000.
