Carrier are a luxury tour operator. Their mission is to tailor exceptional luxury travel experiences that fulfil the wishes, dreams and goals of each and every individual. Established nearly 30 years ago and with royalty and celebrities amongst their clients, Carrier's discreet, attentive and bespoke service is held in the highest regard.

The reputation of the Carrier brand is built upon the service provided by their employees. Carrier offers excellent opportunities to enter the company at a range of experience levels. Carrier have a very open/honest culture and always encourage employees to ask questions and make suggestions. Great customer service examples are put in their weekly newsletter and circulated via email for others to learn and gain knowledge.

Carrier recently held an offsite workshop for all employees, where they looked at how they can elevate employee engagement, plenty of ideas were suggested and have since been implemented.

In addition to bonuses, Carrier focus on small but regular rewards. These include fizz Friday's if they hit sales target figures, they also have vouchers so employees can claim free lunch, breakfasts etc, and they hand out lottery scratchcards as smaller rewards.

What is it like to work for Carrier

The Senior Management Team strongly believe in a people first approach. The values and principles are a key agenda point on Senior Team meetings and they ensure that information is cascaded across the business, in 1-1's, team meetings, department meetings, staff updates, the weekly newsletter and whole company workshops.
Employees at Carrier have had free health checks to measure blood pressure, blood sugar levels, BMI and weight and they have also offered free flu vaccinations to all. The organisation have an employee helpline which all employees can use to access counselling or legal advice.

Carrier ask new starters for a photo and a few paragraphs about themselves and circulate it to the business on the day they start. They also look beyond the framework to welcome new starters into the business, such as leaving a welcome gift and card on their desks, introducing a buddy/mentor, a congratulations gift or team lunch when they pass probation. They also have a post-induction meeting with HR to get their opinion to see if there is anything the organisation can improve upon.
