Ceuta Healthcare is Investors in People Silver Status Company and has launched an initiative called 'Going for Gold in 2012' that aims to cover all aspects of the IIP Gold standard indicators. Presentations on this are made at every senior managers quarterly meeting and they have been concentrating on specific parts of the indicators at every meeting. They have run a 'Foundation Management' series of workshops throughout 2011 for their entire field and head office based managers. Three two day workshops have taken place to date for their field managers and three one day workshops have been run for head office based managers. The major topics are all regularly reviewed at every workshop and after, through verbal and written feedback. The CEO is very entrepreneurial and encourages all his senior team to adopt a similar approach - always looking for new business opportunities and ways of doing things better. He is very keen on information cascading through the organisation both from the top down and from the bottom up.
