About Click Travel

Click Travel uses next-generation technology to make booking business travel seamless and cost-effective for a variety of businesses from FTSE 100 companies to the public and third sector.

The organisation was founded over 20 years ago by Simon McLean after he became frustrated with the services available to business travellers. Certain he could 'do things better', Simon set up his own travel management company and spent the next few years creating software to streamline the process of booking and managing travel.

Click put as much focus on retaining employees as it does on retaining customers, as they know that their team are the key to the phenomenal success that they have seen. The board and senior leadership team are fully committed to ensuring that Click is a great place to work. Small but appreciated changes, such as a fridge full of snacks, 4pm beer on a Friday, frequent complementary trips to accommodation suppliers, flexible working hours and regular social events all go a long way to making a great difference to the everyday working lives of their team.

Their management development programme is called Leadership Essentials, and is run and assessed by an external Management Development Coach, with input from Click's Board and Senior Leadership Team. The course consists of a 9 month mix of training room input, 1-2-1 coaching, interim assignments, action learning sets and recommended reading programmes and is split into 4 stages: 1. Leading self 2. Leading others 3. Leading teams 4. Leading the business.
Click Travel offer a free Employee Assistance Programme, which allows any employee to contact independent professionals, 24/7 to talk about absolutely anything that may be troubling them from stress to medical problems, or work, financial and legal issues.
