CloserStill Media runs market leading business exhibitions in the healthcare and technology sectors. They run events in locations such as London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Singapore. Their portfolio includes some of the fastest growing and often award winning events.

Their primary purpose is to have the best people running the best products, launching and growing events faster than any other major organiser and creating multiple opportunities for career advancement.

The organisation understands that the wellbeing of employees is of great importance. They operate an open-door policy, where employees can talk to any manager about issues they may be experiencing in or out of work. Managers are encouraged to take employees offsite for lunch or even spa days if they sense people need dedicated time.

A summer and Christmas party are organised each year in recognition of the hard work employees at CloserStill produce. Senior managers of teams are encouraged to plan innovative events off site with their teams for team building. They have previously taken a team to Berlin for a weekend, enjoyed a team spa day and a visit to an exhibition to celebrate the great success of their events,

CloserStill run a full management training programme which is given by an external trainer. They also encourage management to meet together on a regular basis to discuss issues and offer solutions to each other or to then highlight these to the senior management to provide training.

CloserStill have annual appraisals where a manager will sit with each member of their team on an individual basis and run through what they have achieved over the past 12 months and areas for development for the next 12.

CloserSill Media sponsor their 11 a side football team and the company netball team, which brings together various departments. To reward employees for meeting targets, events are organised such as speed boat rides down the Thames. They have also recently organised a cocktail making course, Quiz nights with pizza, Rounders in the park with picnic and an open cinema evening.
