Coffin Mew are a full service law firm providing services to business clients, from start ups to SMEs and individual clients covering all of their legal needs.
Coffin Mew was set up more than 130 years ago as a high street legal practice with 12 offices. Over the years the firm has transformed into a modern, forward thinking, corporate enterprise with six offices across the southern region, employing more than 200 employees and partners. Their CEO always refers to the fact that "we are not the finished article" but as their strategy document states "in everything we do, there will be a palpable appetite for change, restless desire for continuous improvement and a clear commitment to building a great firm".
Coffin Mew like to do things differently, they were one of the first law firms to introduce performance related bonuses back in 2011. More recently they introduced an everyday dress down culture and enhanced paid paternity leave to match enhanced paid maternity leave, as part of the development of their new EVP, which involved all employees.
The firm has grown by more than 40% in terms of revenue in the last three years and its prudent financial management means it has a very strong and sustainable financial base from which to continue investing in its people and business.
