Equilibrium is an award winning chartered wealth management company which offers a genuinely personalised financial planning and investment management service, giving clients confidence now and in the future.

The organisation provides a positive and collaborative environment to ensure all team members achieve their full potential. They offer every employee the ability to carve their own career path and encourage and support team members to gain qualifications in order to achieve their goals.

They are a fast paced and innovative company that makes sure employees enjoy what they do. They offer 33 days holiday plus bank holidays as a minimum as they believe in a healthy work life balance. They provide breakfast every day for everyone as they think it's an important part of the day, as teams sit and chat about their evening or what they've got on.

Each year, Equilibrium hold 'Team Person' of the year awards. Categories include Best Team Spirit, Rising Star, Best Newcomer and Unsung Hero. For the initial vote, all team members nominate anyone across the whole business. Then, a shortlist is compiled for each category. A 'voting day' takes place with ballot sheets, a ballot box and polling booths. The whole team vote on the day or arranged a 'postal vote' previously. Winners are announced at the end of year team briefing and are awarded fantastic plaques and a shopping centre voucher.

As a wealth management company, Equilibrium wanted to ensure that the financial wellbeing of the team was a priority. So they started Financial Wellbeing Clinics. The clinics start with a 20/30 minute presentation about the 'cost of delay', the importance of paying into a pension and saving.

Equilibrium have weekly update videos from the Managing Partner. In addition to this they have monthly briefings for the wider company where they invite external speakers in or focus on a core value or wellbeing initiative.

Employees have volunteered at many charities through the work of their internal "Charity Champions". Charity Champions are a group of volunteers who find volunteering opportunities for the team. The idea is that this cuts out barriers to entry and people simply sign up to use one of their 3 paid charity days.
