About Equilibrium Financial Planning LLP

Equilibrium specialises in financial planning, tax mitigation, and investment management but so do plenty of other firms. So, what makes them different?

Making wealthy people wealthier is part of what they do, but it is not their purpose. Their purpose is to make their clients’ lives better by giving them the confidence to make better financial decisions.

“The 3 star accreditation highlights what a fantastic team we have at Equilibrium. It's an awesome achievement! The way the team have continued to support one another and our clients throughout the past year makes me extremely proud.” - Gaynor Rigby, Managing Partner

What is it like to work for Equilibrium Financial Planning LLP

Before lockdown in March the Senior Leadership Team at Equilibrium held a two-day business planning workshop to ensure that the team were not adversely affected by working from home.

The organisation’s Culture Team hosted virtual quizzes, bingo and talks from high-profile guests. They sent cards, gifts and work-from-homecare packages to their team on a regular basis to keep spirits high. They also had an Equilibrium ‘bank holiday’ where everyone had the day off and they were treated to a take-out.

At Equilibrium they are passionate about growth and learning. Their Managers are mentored every step of the way and during Covid this has been critical to keep them feeling connected, supported and able to navigate the landscape of a global pandemic.

Remote coaching played a large part in their ongoing management training ensuring weekly webinars, weekly and daily catch ups with the management team allowing managers to discuss any issues and to knowledge share. Management also undertook an online mental health awareness course.

The wellbeing of the team at Equilibrium is paramount. Some of the things they offered virtually were meditation classes, exercise classes, wellbeing talks on resilience and mental health.

Counselling sessions were encouraged for anyone that wanted to utilise them and a few of the team had remote counselling sessions that Equilibrium has paid for during the pandemic.

They also encouraged staff to photograph their local area as part of a competition, send gifts and plants to boost mood and even sent ‘happiness journals’ to team members’ children.
