About First Choice Homes Oldham

First Choice Homes Oldham are a trusted provider of quality accommodation, which looks to create thriving and independent communities through a number of key services.

Since becoming the largest social landlord in Oldham in 2011, the organisation looks to improve the lives of people across the town. Its values of “We listen, we act, we keep it simple, we own, we learn, we care” are embodied throughout the organisation, and staff passionately look to live by this statement.

As an employer, First Choice Homes Oldham embeds its values from the very beginning of its relationship with colleagues, and regularly asks candidates to outline which of its values they can relate to the most.

Chief Executive Cath Green understands the importance of engaging with colleagues to show they are valued. She enjoys opportunities to meet with staff on a daily basis, and regularly eats in the cafe area while keeping up to date with their activity through social media.
