About Jefferies Solicitors

Jefferies Solicitors is a specialist personal injury law firm based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. They deal with a wide range of compensation claims for accidents and personal injury across England and Wales.

Established in 1993, the firm has developed over the years, building a strong specialist team of personal injury solicitors with the experience and expertise required to handle a diverse range of personal injury work. They also have an experienced team of clinical and medical negligence solicitors and a dedicated catastrophic injury department.

Jefferies Solicitors firmly believes in giving something back to the local community and as such has strong links with the charities Headway and the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust. Fundraisers are a regular occurrence, alongside giving employees the opportunity to take part in events and volunteering for these organisations.

During the pandemic, the Managing Director sent weekly update videos to all employees, helping them to stay connected to the business. They also arranged frequent Zoom events for all staff such as coffee mornings and quizzes. Michael contacted everyone individually early on in lockdown, fully engaging with employees. Leaders also arranged for care packages to be sent to all staff, which boosted morale.

Jefferies prides itself on its personal and supportive approach to employees, and the Management understands the importance of looking after their people. They foster a vibrant company culture and positive working environment and inspire staff to learn, develop, and excel. During the pandemic, the Operations Manager had regular one-to-one meetings on Zoom with all the team leaders to provide them with support. Regular virtual team leader meetings enabled senior solicitors to share best practice, as well as provide support and advice to each other.

Employees are given access to a counsellor to look after their mental health and are encouraged to join in a monthly fitness challenge to encourage physical wellbeing. The company gives employees genuine flexibility that increases with length of service. They have a flexi-time system that gives employees the freedom and responsibility to manage their time, allowing staff to have a great work-life balance.
