About Julia's House Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospices

Julia's House Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospices is a children's hospice located in both Dorset and Wiltshire.

The Hospice is a compassionate, caring and learning organisation that is determined to excel. They achieve national leading standards in care quality, management skills training and employee engagement, supporting staff to be the best they can be in an emotionally demanding but immensely rewarding field of work.

They aim to be the best run charity with the best workforce in the UK. To reach this target, every employee follows the Hospice's core principles: Compassionate and Caring; Honesty and Integrity; It's up to all of us; Listen and Learn.

Julia's House understand that employees work in testing and demanding environments, and so place paramount importance on the wellbeing of their team. The Hospice provide a free confidential counselling and employee assistance helpline, which includes confidential face to face counselling if required. They also encourage exercise clubs at lunchtimes to ensure people can get away from work for a while to focus on themselves.
