About Mission Mars

Mission Mars is a multi-concept operator with a mission to deliver world-class food, drink, entertainment and hospitality experiences through innovation, people and sustainability.

Above all else, Mission Mars ask for all employees to have fun, be original and honest, be positive, use initiative, and to always think of others. It is through these core principles that Mission Mars has gained a positive reputation for providing a great experience for their guests and a great place to work for all involved with the organisation.

The wellbeing of team members is a top priority for Mission Mars. The company's Yapster account is built around being able to contact anyone in the company about anything. It also works as a social media 'news feed' where they can report on various events, happenings, news items etc.

This is programmed so that an employee can set their Yapster to only notify them during work hours. This has made a huge impact on all employees considering some sites are open late night.

Mission Mars also offers a 'dreams luncheon', which is held once a year and invites different employees to discuss their dream. It is performance related as the employees that have proven initiative, commitment and hard work will gain help towards their dream.

The management development programme begins at site level, either by an individual expressing their interest in joining the management team or by being nominated by a manager. Once at supervisor level, they are responsible for a key set of tasks and people. If this is successful for at least a period of 6 months they can apply to on to the TAM scheme (Training Assistant Manager).
