Staff at advertising agency Naked Communications find it simply impossible to cover up their creative side. And with the firm's innovative approach it is easy to see why high-profile clients such as Orange, Coca-Cola and Boots are lining up for its services.
To launch a Reebok initiative aimed at getting people off their sofas and into sport, for example, they had people driven around on a motorised couch. And when it came to publicising an Andy Warhol exhibition at the Tate Modern, the firm created a website for people to upload their own images and have each one converted into Warhol's famous Marilyn Monroe-style piece of art, displayed on the site for its own 15 minutes of fame.
The 51 staff at the London-based firm record the highest score in our survey for the personal growth they experience (94%). They also feel they can make a difference to the organisation — the 88% score here ranking Naked Communications third. One perk is the work environment. The offices, one employee says, are "more like a set from Harry Potter than a fifth-floor office in Clerkenwell", with toilets hidden behind oil paintings, manicured gardens and the feeling of a stately home. The company organises a number of social activities and people say they have a lot of fun in their teams (86%).
Staff are inspired by their leaders (91%) and would strongly recommend working there (90%).
Employees say they are happy with their pay and benefits (73%) and these include boosted maternity and paternity leave, a contributory pension, critical illness cover and childcare vouchers.
