About Next Stage LTD

Next Stage provide supported living environments for people aged 8+ with a background of learning disability, mental health, sexual exploitation and emotional behavioural disorder.

Next Stage started as a community support company nearly 20 years ago and are now one of the leading supported living companies in the North West, offering high class, safe and secure apartments.

They are an employer of choice within the health and social care industry due to the market-leading benefits and training provided. The company has doubled in size in the past year alone and they aim to double again over the coming year, meaning career development opportunities are second to none.

The Next Stage Training Team ensures every member of the support team have a minimum standard of NVQ level 3 and partners with Bolton College to ensure the highest quality of the training and support. Next Stage trains employees up to degree level but also offers shorter courses with their external partner, B2W Group, who run 6-12 week programmes on specific subjects such as medication, learning disabilities and business support.

Employees are encouraged to work across different sites allowing them to gain experience in supporting different people and therefore building their working practice knowledge.

Senior Management are available by phone or email, and for those team members that are not office based, they travel to each of the sites they manage each week so that site team members get to have their input.

The Senior Management Team have created a 'Training and Development Programme for Team Leaders'. This ensures succession planning and upskilling of managers and future managers. All identified employees are enrolled on NVQ5 qualifications with Bolton College and are able to take one day per week off towards studying.
