The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is a membership charity with over 500 years of history. It focuses on making a difference to physicians around the UK and the world.
From humble beginnings, it now has over 36,000 members and is a vital part of the medical charities sector. The RCP offers excellent benefits, work life balance, opportunities for development and personal and professional growth. From fun days to their Christmas and summer parties and wellbeing initiatives and free lunches for staff, the RCP is a second home to everyone.
The RCP has a strong 1:1 culture with a clear understanding that wellbeing discussions should take place at these meetings.
RCP London are close to Regent's Park, and where possible they encourage walking meetings as a way of helping to remove stress and increase relaxation during meetings. They also encourage unique spaces to be used for meetings in addition to conventional meeting spaces.
The RCP also offers subsidised therapies including chiropody and osteopathy for staff. There are a number of break out areas across their sites, and recently opened a new modern cafe as a meeting space and provide relaxation away from the office.
