About Scarf

Scarf is a thriving social enterprise that provides top class experiences for both its customers and staff. Founded in 1985 to eradicate fuel poverty, Scarf has grown and strengthened considerably over 30 successful years.

Tackling fuel poverty remains as one of their core aims, and their efforts to do so have been joined by a range of diverse services that has established Scarf as a professional social enterprise making a practical difference to individuals and organisations.

Scarf always look for ways to help staff relax. The bright garden spaces cared for by staff at their offices can help by providing some fresh air and sunshine.

As well as flexible working arrangements including flexitime and annual leave entitlement - staff get their birthday off to treat themselves and celebrate.

Scarf also believe in offering their people with opportunities to grow, as part of their Aspire programme. Team members are provided with 'Scarftime' - up to half a day, paid, per month to explore personal and professional opportunities and projects.

What is it like to work for Scarf

Scarf believe that the best way to ease workplace stress is to provide a supportive and relaxing working atmosphere, offering staff ways to strike the best work-life balance for their circumstances, wherever possible.
