About Stone King LLP

Stone King advise clients on a wide range of commercial and personal legal services. They offer specialist advice to charities and the education sector.

Stone King listen to and value staff, which is why a high proportion have stayed with the firm for many years, including the managing partner who joined as a trainee solicitor in the mid 1980's.

The firm believes that everyone can have a significant impact on the business and want their people to feel valued. This is why regular consultations with people at all levels form an essential part of informing the firm's future direction.

Stone King have five core principles in total, which are: Talented; Specialist; Understanding; Respect; and Team.

Core principles are at the forefront of everything they do, including when interviewing prospective employees. The managing partner meets with every new joiner during their induction period to talk through these core principles and all of their people are given a pocket sized leaflet of the values as a constant reminder. Their annual performance review process is also driven by their principles and development frameworks, they ask everyone to refer to both documents in detail.
