The company began in 1941 when Dr Homer Stryker, a US orthopaedic surgeon, found that certain medical products weren’t meeting his patients’ needs - so he invented new ones and set up a business to produce them.

Today, led with integrity and accountability by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Kevin A Lobo, Stryker UK have offices in the US, Canada, Latin America, Europe and across Asia-Pacific.
