About The Calico Group

The Calico Group are made up of six companies that focus on providing quality services in social housing, social enterprise, the protection of women from domestic abuse, construction and addiction services.

The charities and businesses work together to make social profit, rather than financial profit. They define social profit as the positive difference they make to people’s lives across all the communities in which they work. They create social profit by developing innovative services, and harnessing the opportunities of their unique group structure.

The group helps individuals of all ages and backgrounds and their families live peacefully and prosperously in warm, secure homes within safe, friendly neighbourhoods.

Based in Burnley, The Calico Group bring together the widest possible range of expertise - from their motivated service users to their stakeholders who come from commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Chief Executive Anthony Duerden is a qualified accountant and is a former member of the Board of Lancashire Housing Partnership Ltd.
