The Rum Kitchen is a restaurant bar, bringing a carnival experience to their guests with flavours inspired by the Caribbean.
With their mission statement 'bringing flavours inspired by the Caribbean', the restaurant decided they also needed a set of core principles to which each employee could follow on a daily basis.

The Rum Kitchen are always on the lookout for like minded people to join their ever growing team of passionate and skilled employees. And they have found that using social media is a great way to attract talent that really relate to their brand, particularly by sharing content of their teams on shift so potential new hires can get an insight into what the experience might be like to work for them.
To say thank you for their team's continued effort, every payroll period (which is once a fortnight), The Rum Kitchen run the T&T bonus which is a TRONC and Travelcard scheme. Each site manager can nominate one person to receive a topped up Oyster card for 2 weeks as well as a 15 point TRONC bonus. They announce this on the family Facebook every fortnight and post photos so the teams can congratulate each other.
