About Total Media Group

Total Media Group are a behavioural planning media agency. They produce strategies based on people’s behaviours – understanding how audiences think, feel and act – so that they reach their client’s audiences contextually, and at the moments that matter.

The company was established as an independent agency based in London, with a head count of just three. By 1998 the agency had reached £20m in media billings and had moved to a larger office in Kensington to accommodate the people working there.

They now have a combined billings of over £60m and represent clients including Lenovo, Moto and Investec.

Employees are given one paid day off per year in order to do charity work, and they share case studies internally of how people have used them to encourage more charitable work.

Every week they have ‘Fun Factory Fridays’ where they meet for an end-of-the-week catch up.

What is it like to work for Total Media Group

My Manager
My Manager
To develop their managers they ran programme last year called 'Total Management', which was delivered by an external consultant. It was mandatory for all managers to attend and included one-to-one coaching sessions and six half day modules on a variety of topics.
They have 'Wellbeing Wednesdays' every week where they run a different wellbeing initiative. This could be anything from yoga, meditation to healthy snacks. In addition, employees have access to an assistance line, and CBT is covered by a free health plan.
My Team

Last year they ran team effectiveness training using MBTI workshops. The purpose is for teams to get a better understanding of their colleagues, which leads to better working relationships. They also host fortnightly onsite gatherings for drinks and an end of week catch up
