About UK Power Networks

UK Power Networks keep the lights on for more than 8,000,000 domestic and commercial customers, across London, East Anglia and the South East of England. Every time someone makes a cup of tea, stops at the traffic lights, updates their Facebook status or has lifesaving treatment in a hospital, they are there in the background providing this electricity.

Joining UK Power Networks provides an individual the opportunity to really make a difference and be part of a progressive successful business. In the comparatively short time that the business has been in existence, they have demonstrated improvements in all key focus areas: safety, customer service, network reliability and cost efficiency. This has been underpinned over the last year by the company achieving its best ever year of performance against the aforementioned measures.

Their vision is to be an employer of choice, a respected corporate citizen and be sustainably cost efficient, aligning the interests of their employees with those of their customers and shareholders.

In coming to UK Power Networks, employees are joining an ambitious company, who recognise having a truly diverse and inclusive culture is an important aspect of shaping the organisation's success.

Annually, UK Power Networks invite employees to nominate one-another for UK Power Networks 'living our values awards'. Their executive management team review all the nominations and agree the finalists.

All finalists are invited to an event where the winners are announced. All permanent employees are eligible for nomination in their 17 categories, which include; lifetime achievement award, motivational manager and team of the year.
