Founded over 15 years ago, Vanarama (Autorama UK Ltd) has grown from a small, used car dealership to an award-winning commercial and personal vehicle leasing company.
Recruitment plays a key part in the continuous success and growth of the business because they believe hiring the right people is important. The company referral scheme rewards employees £250 for every person they refer to the business that stays past the six-month probation period. This scheme is advertised internally through email, posters and on the company screens.
A management training programme has been created at Vanarama. The purpose of this training is to nurture talent and provide employees with the skills to be the best manager they can be. The training requires participants to identify their learnings in a final presentation to the training and development director and other individuals taking the course. The management training programme is accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
Vanarama offers a variety of incentives to employees. The highest performing sales account manager of the week/month will win a prize, this includes use of executive company vehicles, wine and other motivational incentives.
Vanarama supports several charities, supplying free vans to these charities all year round, on top of monetary donations. In previous years, Vanarama have donated £50 for every leased vehicle, in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
