About WPR

WPR was founded in 1992 with just one woman and a phone. They are a content creation and amplification consultancy, which strives to be measured by revenue over reach and leads over ‘likes’.

Their founding philosophy then was to be people-first: 'to look after their team as best they can, so they look after their clients as best they can.'

A lot has changed since then but their vision hasn’t. It is their employees who create their success and they recognise that.

They are a team of over 50 passionate and talented people, handpicked from a range of diverse backgrounds, bringing a blend of expertise ranging from media relations and design, through to search marketing and social.

This blend of art and science, (the art of great ideas, communicated brilliantly and the science of insightful targeting and analytics) when combined, helps brands to maximise their share of mind, both online and offline.

Still independently owned, they have long since outgrown their basement home but they will never outgrow their principles.

What is it like to work for WPR

Personal Growth
Personal Growth
Their Learning and Development Programme is run alongside an external consultant who delivers tailored training to small groups of people, based on appraisal discussions and feedback. They deliver at least 30 learning lunches per year, passing on knowledge of successful pitches and award-winning campaigns.

My Company
They encourage open dialogue between employees to foster an atmosphere where they feel free to make suggestions. An informal way to make suggestions is to pop the idea into their suggestion box. This is opened every month during the Leadership Team Meeting and all ideas are responded to on their Facebook Workplace site, either positively or giving reasons why they cannot take action on it.
Fair Deal
Fair Deal
At WPR they know the single greatest thing they can do for everyone on their team is promoting, and protecting, a healthy work-life balance. Their flexible work policy has been designed to be just that - flexible enough to work for and reward everyone, wherever they are in their life. This includes enhanced holiday leave for spending time with family and friends and furry friends Friday whereby employees can bring their dog to work for the day.
