About West Ham United Football Club

West Ham United is a London Premier League club challenging for Europe for the benefit and enjoyment of their fans, with a long-term aim to compete with Europe’s elite at every level. Fans and the community are at the heart of everything they do.

They are a family and are proud of their roots and strong heritage. They are renowned throughout the world as the Academy of Football, for playing attractive attacking football the 'West Ham Way' and for the role of their famous three sons Moore, Hurst and Peters in the 1966 World Cup victory.

This is a truly dynamic and fun place to work. Football Clubs are all about people and none more so than West Ham United. They identify, attract and develop the best. The organisation has grown over the last three years and they want their people to continue grow with them.

The Club has a true family feel and they encourage that at every opportunity through initiatives such as inviting staff family members to join them at matches including opportunities for them to enjoy hospitality. They recognise long service and as a reward they have initiatives which enable family members to be mascots.

What is it like to work for West Ham United Football Club

My Manager
My Manager
Mentoring is actively encouraged within the Club at all levels. All staff receive the opportunity to be mentored by someone more senior in the organisation. The best example of this is that the Vice Chairman has employees that she personally mentors. In a recently launched initiative every employee has the opportunity to shadow other key staff members across departments.
Personal Growth
Personal Growth
The Club fully funds all apprenticeship qualifications at all levels for anyone who wishes to do one right up to MBA level. They provide modern language (currently Spanish and Italian lessons) for staff– giving the opportunity to learn a new language is advantageous for both personal and professional development.
My Company
My Company
As a Premier League football club they have a relatively unique position in that they have staff and players from all around the world. One of example of how they utilise this diversity is to use their Academy players to help recruit coaches. Additionally, this diversity provides representative selection panels to aid their selection and recruitment.
