The Youth Sport Trust has been on its mission to change young people’s lives for the better through sport since 1995. Over the years they have had a range of roles in relation to education and sport for young people, including being the key drivers of change through government policy for over a decade.
They currently have a significant role in delivering against public policy and investment, developing and implementing the largest scale programmes in the country reaching around 90% of all schools in England.
Inside the Youth Sport Trust, staff briefs held every month bring together their office and remotely based staff to share insight into specific projects that they are undertaking. It also provides the opportunity to hear from those who benefit from their work. Whether it is the way they set-up cross-function project teams to ensure effective working relationships, or their ‘Active 30’ programme of physical activity to get them all up and out of their seats and keep fit together as part of the working day - they are a sociable bunch!
