About Zenith

Zenith is a fast paced, dynamic and exciting place to be. Starting in 1989 it has grown from 8 employees to the 750 workforce they have today.

As they manage all parts of the vehicle leasing process, they have a variety of departments all with unique skill sets and challenges, so it's crucial to get to know how each operated so they can work collaboratively together.

Over the years they have gained strength in their sector whilst maintaining core values and rewarding staff with share options, a wonderful social calendar and the best benefits package they can find.

They take employee wellness seriously and have recently introduced 'walking meetings'. Where an internal meeting doesn't require a screen they encourage a walking meeting. Their new office is situated next to a canal and woodlands area, this makes a perfect setting for a walk. It means that employees get a break away from screens, get out in the fresh air and a bit of exercise at the same time.

Annual objectives are set each year for all employees, including managers, these are measured at annual appraisals and regular 1-1's by looking at team statistics, speaking to others within the organisation and by having open conversations with managers.

They hold monthly Zig Zag sessions across the business, by different departments each month and are great for giving their people a really solid understanding of the functions of other departments within the business and deepen their appreciation of how each department interacts with one another. It is also a forum for communicating changes within teams, new processes and legislation updates and serves to bring the company together whilst broadening knowledge across the entire company.

They have a strong commitment with Leeds Ahead which offers their employees the opportunity to support students a local school. This has taken the form of mentoring over the academic year, providing interview practice, taking over a GCSE business lesson and welcoming them to Zenith for a workplace visit. It's always great to see every year they have more volunteers for mentoring than needed.
