ABC Leisure Group own and operate ten marinas and boatyards around the UK inland waterway system. These serve their own hire fleets, passing boaters and privately owned boats.
The business has 16 locations for hiring canal boats, providing access to most of the national canal network.
The group also build bespoke narrowboats, sell parts and second-hand craft, have a well-stocked chandler at Hilperton Marina and an online chandlery.
Further offshoots include holiday cottages, an award-winning pub at Alvechurch Marina and an à la carte restaurant.
The company’s sustainable values see them donate to the Waterways Trust Green Fund to offset their carbon production and support several charities.
Although the company have been trading in one form or another for 45 years, they decided to rename their diverse portfolio of canal-related businesses in 2007 as ABC Leisure Group.
Directors of the 200-strong Worcester-based business are Stephen Boddice, Edward Helps, Carl Onens and Kevin Threlfall.
