AND Digital accelerates the digital capabilities of ambitious organisations by blending tech craft skills and product expertise with an award-winning approach to talent development.

AND Digital's founder and CEO is a proactive presence within the organisation and is always accessible to employees. They have personally welcomed every new employee to the business by running an introductory session at each of their bootcamps.

AND's core principles, which they define as the behaviours they prize within their people, have remained a constant since their foundation. The three core principles are; Wonder, Share and Delight. Each employee lives by these principles every day.

As a growing tech company, their environmental priorities are focused upon using ethical suppliers, reducing tech waste and adopting sensible practices. They buy from suppliers who are committed to responsibly sourcing raw materials and reducing and disposing of waste as sustainably as possible. They encourage a reuse and recycle policy when tech equipment is no longer usable. Employees have the option to buy their old laptop at a discount and wherever possible, they repair broken machines.

Across AND, dedicated people champions act as an interface between teams and the leadership of that part of the business. Champions gather feedback and suggestions from their teams and then feed this back to their leaders, or the central talent team, to agree actions.

Their awareness sessions help break the stigma around mental health topics, which are chosen by employees so they stay relevant.

The AND Incubator was an internal product innovation competition, designed to foster startup mentality and give employees the opportunity to be part of something unique. Teams pitched their ideas for an exciting tech startup to a Dragon's Den-style panel. Pitches were judged on the originality of their idea, their vision of how to break into new markets, the quality of their communication and ability to field questions, and the validation and monetisation of their plan. The winning team won an all expenses paid trip to Silicon Valley in California, where they visited top tech businesses such as Google and Facebook and met with industry leaders.
