An insurance intermediary, ARAG creates legal expenses insurance and assistance products. These products include a range of ‘Before-the-Event’ and ‘After-the-Event’ legal insurance products and services, as well as a portfolio of emergency assistance policies.
They sell their products through brokers, solicitors and other third parties so they can serve commercial and personal clients.
The company was established in 2006 with the vision that, ‘every individual should be able to assert his or her rights, not just those who can afford it’.
ARAG supports employee development in many ways, including a core company induction, group training for new IT systems, and a management training programme.
In addition, they provide CII study sessions that are offered to all staff, which is run by a chartered insurer. So far, staff members have a first-time pass rate of 100%, giving participants confidence to enrol and pass the qualification with confidence.
