About Arcadis UK

Arcadis has a long standing history which can be dated back to the 18th Century. Over the years through acquisition and organic growth, it has become one of the leading design and consultancy firms for natural and built assets.

They understand that their people are their greatest strength, which means the development and progression of employees is of high importance. 'Global Shapers' is an annual program that provides 100 early career professionals with the opportunity to improve Arcadis, create more international connections and share knowledge in a virtual and face-to-face phase.

Awards are given to employees at Arcadis as a reward for outstanding work. Awards can include tickets to the cinema/theatre, sporting events, dinner at a restaurant or a bottle of champagne. It's up to the team leader to give the most appropriate award they believe for the level of output and performance that somebody has provided.

As part of their focus on mental health, Arcadis have introduced a new stress management policy which aligns with HSE standards and encourages employees to actively raise concerns if they are experiencing or showing signs of stress. They raise awareness of stress through their health and wellbeing calendar and in the mental health awareness and skills training which is offered to managers.
