About The Association of Accounting Technicians

The Association of Accounting Technicians, or AAT, are leaders in the accounting industry, building practical skills through internationally recognised qualifications and professional membership. Their members range from aspiring accountants to those running their own accountancy practices.

The company works across the globe with around 130,000 members in more than 100 countries. AAT members are ambitious and focused accounting professionals, many occupying senior, well-rewarded positions with thousands of employers - from blue-chip corporate giants to public sector institutions.

The AAT Accounting Qualification is universally respected and internationally recognised. Organisations such as Sainsbury’s, Morgan Stanley and the Ministry of Defence hire AAT-qualified members for their knowledge, skills, diligence and enthusiasm.

They support and develop members through more than 580 AAT-approved training providers around the world and an extensive branch network where members can access support and training, as well as meet other AAT members in their local area.

AAT is headquartered in London.

What is it like to work for The Association of Accounting Technicians

My Manager
My Manager
In order to measure the performance of managers, they encourage regular one-to-one meetings to review team progress. In addition, they offer external coaching with a consultant who has worked with them many years and so understands the business and its needs.
They discourage a culture of presenteeism for the sake of it. In fact, managers are encouraged to tell their employees to stay home if they are getting unwell. This helps to prevent illnesses, which reduces absence in the longer term.
My Team
My Team
The whole organisation took part in the AAT Summer Event, which started with a treasure hunt around The City and London Bridge, with teams randomly assigned together in order to encourage interaction among employees. Winners were announced over drinks in a local venue afterwards.
