About Association of Colleges (AoC)

What is it like to work for Association of Colleges (AoC)

Wellbeing
Wellbeing
AoC is flexible and allows employees to work from home on an occasional basis to accommodate personal appointments/deliveries etc. Their IT system allows full access to the office systems remotely and makes this a realistic alternative to being in the office. The company also ran a practical session on Stress Relief at the recent all staff away day, understanding the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
Giving Something Back
Giving Something Back
The AoC Charitable Trust was established to advance the education of members of the public over the age of 16 years. The Trust is overseen by a group of trustees (including AoC staff) who administer a number of programmes including the Beacon Awards and Gold Awards. AoC recycles paper and cardboard. The National office also has a filtered water tap which is used to fill reusable glass bottles for meetings etc. This means that no bottled water is purchased saving waste.
Fair Deal

The Association of Colleges understand the importance of ensuring employees feel rewarded and appreciated for their efforts. To cement this employees receive good pay and excellent additional benefits which include free private healthcare which is extended to spouses and dependants, performance related pay, discounted services and an employee assistance programme. Employees are also publicly thanked for good work as part of the regular All Staff Meetings.
