About Banyards

For 30 years, Banyards have worked on some of the UK’s biggest and most ground-breaking projects, providing services including: mechanical and electrical design; energy and carbon consultancy; Building Information Modelling (BIM) and much more.

The company works for a range of clients including architects, project managers, end-users and developers, and boasts some of the most innovative and experienced specialists in the industry.

Founded in 1987 by Nick Till and the late Paul Banyard, leaders of the organisation have been keen to question, investigate and challenge their clients and staff to look beyond the immediate requirements of each project to make sure it is as good as it can possibly be.

Their core values - relationship people; successful people; doing the right thing people; can do people; and safe people - define who they are and how they work. As an Investors in People Gold company, they ensure their employees understand what the company wants to achieve and how to help achieve it.

Leadership
Leadership
Nick Till, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Banyards, takes pride in listening to the staff. By sitting at a hot-desk, in the midst of the teams, he is keen to set an example of cross-collaboration and communication - to give everyone the opportunity to speak to him directly and allow him to get a feel for the atmosphere.
Personal Growth

Banyards offer employees the chance to take up to two working days of special paid leave each year for community volunteering. They also run an employees’ charity, voted for by members of staff every year - this year they’ve supported the Christie Hospital in Manchester.
