Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) is one of the world’s most famous and successful advertising agencies. It was founded in 1982 by three partners who had an ambition to produce outstanding and effective advertising whilst maintaining a fun working environment.
BBH has seven offices globally and employs around 1,000 staff. Their original 10 beliefs covering fairness, integrity and creativity are displayed on the wall of every office, so all employees can understand their history. They are a creative business who despite looking after some of the world’s biggest brands, place a great emphasis on their only asset, their people and their ideas. It’s why so much effort is put into creating an environment that people find inspiring and rewarding.
Their iconic black sheep logo demonstrates their philosophy and purpose 'When the world zigs, zag.' This drive for difference manifests itself in the thinking and work they develop for their clients but also in the difference they make to their broader society with their 'Creativity for Good' programme. Of course they need to make a commercial difference to their clients’ businesses but they also strive to make a difference to the world around them.
In 2019 BBH launched 'Mental Health & Wellbeing Week'. This incorporated a whole host of activities and events intended to take employees away from their desks to dedicate some time out for themselves and their wellbeing. The aim of the week was to get everyone talking more about their wellbeing and taking more time out for self care.
