About BCL Legal

Established in 2003, BCL Legal are one of the most successful legal recruitment consultancies in the UK.

Chief Executive Officer’s James Batt, Vicky Clark and Mark Levine opened the first BCL Legal office in Manchester 15 years ago. Since then, the company has grown to 60 employees in four national locations, including Birmingham and London.

In 2016, BCL reached a milestone by hitting £10 million in annual turnover, proving that the volume of business continues to grow.

BCL are passionate about doing the best job possible for clients and candidates. If they can help, they tell clients exactly what they are going to do and deliver it. If they cannot help, they will tell them.

Throughout the business, there is an unmistakable desire to achieve the company’s vision and values. Both are detailed on their office walls and are articulated to employees in every meeting to ensure everyone is working towards the same goal.

What is it like to work for BCL Legal

James works in the same open-plan office space as the team with colleagues in either London, Manchester or Birmingham every day of the week. He is available and accessible 24/7 and ensures everyone in the business knows this.
