About Beaverbrooks

Beaverbrooks are an award-winning, family-owned jewellers established in 1919, with 71 stores across the UK, providing exceptional quality diamonds, jewellery and watches.

Their story began when brothers, Isaac, Henry and Maurice Adlestone moved to Belfast to pursue their dream of selling fine jewellery and gifts. With no shop to sell from, they took to the streets with a suitcase and began building the foundations for the business that Beaverbrooks has become today.

For almost 100 years, they are proud to have played a part in some of the most important moments of people’s lives. They believe that choosing the item for a special occasion is part of the important moment itself, and make it their mission to ensure that each customer has a wonderful experience.

As a company, Beaverbrooks works hard to establish and maintain a strong company culture and is committed to ensuring that all aspects of the business align with ‘The Beaverbrooks Way’.

What is it like to work for Beaverbrooks

Chief Executive Officer Anna Blackburn likes to take her colleagues on a journey and work together. Anna operates an open-door policy and hosts 14 focus groups each year to hear opinions and ideas from different people throughout the business.

Each manager reports quarterly to their regional manager to show what further support has been given in store to their management trainee. Each trainee has a monthly performance review with their manager to discuss their progress.

Since 2000, Beaverbrooks have donated over £11 million to charity. The company also introduced a scheme called “You Care, We Share” in which staff nominate projects to receive a £250,000 fund, which is allocated from The Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust each year.
