Beds and Bars operate tourist accommodation and entertainment venues in Europe. They provide backpacker hostels, bars and traditional British pubs in ten cities and seven countries.
Run by Chief Executive Officer Keith Knowles and Chairman Tim Sykes, Beds and Bars were previously known as St Christopher’s Inns and Belushi’s Bars. The company was rebranded in 2009.
Keith Knowles founded the company and was awarded an OBE in 2017 for his services to the community and charity. Tim Skyes joined the company in 1998 following 25 years looking after tenanted and leased pubs in London.
The company has four key cornerstones that it hopes to deliver to customers: safety, security, fun and value.
They have two dogs in the head office, which Beds and Bars say really helps ease work stress and create a positive working environment.
Every staff member has CEO Keith’s mobile number and are encouraged to use it if they have something to discuss.
